Beautiful piece of early 20th-century American art glass: an antique carnival glass ruffled bowl manufactured by the Fenton Art Glass Company. This piece showcases their classic "Basketweave" pattern on the exterior, paired with an elegant, hand-shaped 2-row openwork pierced lattice edge.
The glass features a rich, glowing Marigold iridescent finish over a clear-to-amber base. It catches light brilliantly, offering heavy metallic golden shimmers, warm copper tones, and a lovely reflective gloss inside the basin.
Condition: Excellent antique condition! There are no cracks or chips, and the delicate open loops along the pierced border are fully intact with no breaks. The iridescent finish remains bright and clean throughout. Expect minor factory anomalies common for early 1900s glass, such as microscopic enclosed air bubbles or faint mold lines.
